Fennel uses a small private tool, Channel Upload, to publish videos to the Fennel YouTube channel and to read that channel's own statistics. The tool is used only by the channel's owner. It is not offered to the public and no one else can sign in to it.
What the tool can access
When the channel owner signs in with Google, the tool asks for permission to upload videos, manage the channel's own videos and playlists, and read the channel's YouTube Analytics. It uses this access only to run the Fennel channel.
Where the data goes
- Sign-in tokens are stored only on the channel owner's own computer.
- Channel statistics are kept for the owner's own planning and are not sold, rented or shared with anyone.
- No advertising, tracking or profiling uses this data.
Google API Services
Channel Upload's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be withdrawn at any time from your Google Account's third-party connections page. The stored tokens are then deleted from the owner's computer.
